VELUX soft shutter is solar powered and is the ideal choice for those with out-of-reach VELUX roof windows, or those who wish to add a touch of innovative luxury to their room.

Basic hand operated shutter with open-close positioning

The basic hand operated roller shutter can either be rolled fully up or down. When not in use, the roller shutter is hidden under its casing. To operate the roller shutter, simply open the window and rotate it 180 degrees until the sash automatically engages with the panzer. When closing the window, the shutter will now roll out automatically. To roll the shutter up again, rotate the window 180 degrees. A click-sound indicates that the shutter is detached from the sash.

Remote controlled and electrically powered roller shutters are operated with the intelligent touch-screen VELUX INTEGRA® control pad originally supplied with your VELUX INTEGRA® roof window. An intuitive solution that lets you easily control your blinds remotely. You can control the blind from anywhere in your room.  

If necessary, the blind can also be raised and lowered manually with the control bar at the bottom of the blind.  

What if I don't have an electrically powered VELUX INTEGRA® roof window?  

If you don't have an electrically powered VELUX INTEGRA® roof window, but would like an electric powered blind, try the control system KUX 100. This will allow you to use the  electrically powered VELUX blinds or shutters in manually operated roof windows. Or try the control system KMX 100 and turn your entire manually operated roof window into an automated one. The control system KMX 100 will  allow you to operate multiple electrical products. 

Both control systems include a VELUX remote control that will make the blind or shutter io-homecontrol® compatible. The control system KMX 100 also includes a rain sensor.

   

Remote controlled and solar powered

Remote controlled and solar powered roller shutters are operated with the remote control supplied with the blind. If you have a solar powered INTEGRA® roof window, you can also use the intelligent touch-screen VELUX INTEGRA® control pad originally supplied with your VELUX INTEGRA® roof window.  
You can control the blind from anywhere in your room.  

If necessary, the solar powered blind can also be operated manually. The solar-rechargeable battery holds enough charge for up to 600 operations, even if there is no direct sunlight for recharging.
